The Vine Inn Loyalty Program offers members many benefits and is designed to reward regular customers with more benefits than ever. Our loyalty program includes many Members Only benefits** including:

  • Points accrued on all purchases across the hotel that can be redeemed for meals, drinks and bottle shop purchases,

  • Weekly bottle shop special,
  • Friday Member’s night in the Vine Garden Bistro for our reduced price menu,

  • Earn triple points in the Bottleshop on Mondays when purchasing spirits,

There is an annual charge per financial year. This membership fee allows the Vine Inn Barossa to continue supporting your community through sponsorship and donations.  To renew your membership, please bring your Membership card to Billy Jack’s Bar along with your renewal fee.

Membership FAQs

What is the difference between Loyalty Club Membership & Voting Membership?

The loyalty club membership is a renewable membership that is paid annually. It gives the card carrying member many benefits and rewards including discounts, birthday vouchers, instant prizes, and access to a members only menu. It does not include voting rights.

 

The voting membership does not include a loyalty card and is $2 for lifetime membership. This entitles the member to vote at the AGM.

How long is membership valid for?

All cards expire at end of each financial year (June 30).

Can I pay for my membership with points?

Yes, you can use yout existing points as a tender type to pay for membership. If you don’t have enough points to pay for an entire membership, you can pay partially in points and partially via card/cash

Are my points transferable to another person?

Points are not legally transferrable between members.

What does membership cost?

For current loyalty menbers, the cost to renew their membership for the 2022/23  financial year, it is $30 per person.

For new members, the cost is $30 annually for a single membership and $50 annually per couple if both cards are renewed together.

How do I renew my membership?

Visit the gaming room and the gaming attendant will be able to assist you.

How much does it cost to renew my membership?

For current loyalty members, the cost to renew their membership for the 2022/23 financial year is $30 per person.

When do current members cards expire?

For current members their membership will expire on 30/6/2023 (if the membership has not already been renewed) and their card will stop working one month later on 31/7/2023.

What if I renew my membership after June 30th?

You will still pay the same renewal membership amount and it will expire at the end of the financial year.

If I don’t renew, what happens to my points?

You can redeem your points for use in the venue or the points will stay inactive in the system for 2 years. After the 2 years if your membership is not renewed, the points and membership will be deleted from the system.

Do I need a new card when I renew?

No you keep your current Vine Inn maxetag card.

I want to renew but I have lost my card?

Not an issue. Once you have paid your renewal, we will issue you a replacement card.

1 / INTRODUCTION

This Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) supplements the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy and Privacy Statement and forms the basis of
the maxetag system.

2 / GENERAL
Please note that maxetag reserves the right to make any changes to the PDS without prior notice and at maxetag’s absolute discretion. maxetag
will attempt to notify members and participating venues of any changesbut shall not be held liable for failure to do so.
All information contained in the members application form will be held in an online database for maxetag; ‘‘the maxetag database’’.
Subject to the Privacy Policy and Privacy Statement , information from the maxetag database may be made available to agents involved in
administering the maxetag program; this information at maxetag’s discretion may also be made available to and used by maxetag, its agents
and participating venues for marketing purposes inclusive of planning, product development, research and other commercial purposes.
By utilising the maxetag system each member agrees to the above. maxetag reserves the right to suspend or terminate the maxetag program at
any time with written notice in accordance with section 4(4) of the Terms andConditions, please note that maxetag will not be held liable (without
limitation) for any points on a members TAG/Card at the time of suspension or termination. The Participating Venue with provide
details of where and how you may redeem any remaining points balance (if any).
Participating venues do not have the authority, express or implied to make any representation, warranty or statement on behalf of maxetag and
maxetag accepts no liability in respect of such representations, warranties or statements. Any offer proven to be fraudulent will not be honoured by the participating venue and criminal charges will be brought against any person or persons fraudulently abusing the system.

3 / MEMBERSHIP
Only individuals may be members of maxetag.
Any member will be bound by this PDS upon first use of their maxetag.
It is the member’s responsibility to notify maxetag of any change of address or personal details in accordance with section 2(2) of the
Terms and Conditions. maxetag will not be liable for any delay in replacing a membership TAG/Card or for any unauthorised use of a
members TAG/Card. maxetag members will receive an activity statement via email or surface mail in accordance with the Gaming Machines Gambling Code of Practice. maxetag members may also receive a printed statement from participating venues. Disputes about any details contained in the statement must be notified to participating venue.
The partcipating venue or maxetag terminate a membership in the program without notice for any reason including, without limitation, if
the member
• Fails to comply with the membership PDS
• Abuses any privilege accorded to them under the maxetag program,
or
• Supplies any misleading information or makes any misrepresentation to maxetag or to any participating venue
• Dies or moves permanently overseas
Participating venues are not bound to honour any offer or reward that has been in the opinion of maxetag or its agents fraudulently entered into
the system and criminal charges may be laid against those responsible for willingly attempting to defraud and/or defrauding the system.
Maxetag does not offer a blanket cover for the fraudulent misuse of a system, all systems are set up with security levels and password access to
offer best practice security.
A member may terminate his or her membership in the maxetag program at any time by giving written notice to the participating venue. On
receiving a notice of termination from a member, the member’s contact details will be noted on the maxetag database as closed, and after 12
months of non-tag usage such contact details will be deleted from the maxetag database and the remaining member’s offers cancelled, except
where prohibited by law or regulation. Membership TAG/Cards are not credit or charge cards and are not transferable. Any tax, liability or duty arising from a member’s participation in the maxetag program is the responsibility of the member.

4 / ISSUING POINTS
maxetag points are issued as indicated by a participating venue, for more details about how points are earned at participating venues, please visit the participating venue’s website for Terms and Conditions.
In order to redeem points a member must present his or her membership TAG/Card at the point of sale, maxetag is not liable for any delay or failure
of a participating venues to load a transaction onto a TAG/Card. maxetag will not credit points which are given by participating venues
after they have ceased to be participants in the maxetag program. Points and the rights that they confer cannot be sold, passed on, assigned
or otherwise dealt with except in accordance with this PDS. Points can not be exchanged for cash.

5 / REDEEMING POINTS
Points redemption may be the subject of state legislation and the Gaming Machines Gambling Code of Practice.
A member can only redeem points in the place of redemption stored on the TAG/Card for that particular participating venue; redemptions must be
made by the member personally.
The redemption of points will be removed from the TAG/Card at the time of redemption.
In the event of malfunction of the TAG/Card every effort will be made to load any points not expired or redeemed onto a replacement TAG/Card.
Points will expire and be removed from at TAG/Card following the period specified in the Terms and Conditions section 3(10).
All points are subject to such other terms, conditions and restrictions as are mentioned in the Terms and Conditions relating to maxetag.

The Terms and Conditions for maxetag can be found at the participating venue’s website and premises.

These Terms and Conditions form the basis of the Vine Inn Barossa membership loyalty program

  • Membership
    • A person can apply to become a member of Vine Inn Barossa Loyalty Program by completing a members  details for and paying an annual membership fee.
    • Members will be bound by these Terms and Conditions which may be varied from time to time.
    • A member must notify Vine Inn Barossa of any change of address or of a lost or stolen membership card. Vine Inn Barossa is not liable for any delay in replacing a membership card or for any unauthorised use of a membership card.
    • Points will not be credited until an individual becomes a member. Members can confirm the number of points held by them by asking at the bar or online. Disputes about any details regarding member’s points must be notified to Vine Inn Barossa’s membership team (reservations@vineinn.com.au ). A written statement by Vine Inn Barossa deciding any such dispute is final and binding.
    • Vine Inn Barossa may terminate a membership without notice for any reason including, without limitation, if the member:
      • Fails to comply with these membership Terms and Conditions
      • Abuses any privilege accorded to the member : or
      • Supplies any misleading information or make any misrepresentations to Vine Inn Barossa staff or management
      • If the member does not use his or her membership card for a period of 12 months or dies.
    • A member may terminate his or her membership at any time by giving written notice to Vine Inn Barossa’s membership team manager@vineinn.com.au) The member’s points will be cancelled 12 months after receiving the notice and the member’s details will be deleted from the Vine Inn Barossa membership database.
    • Membership cards are not credit or charge cards, are not transferable, and remain the property of Vine Inn Barossa and must be returned to Retail operator if a member ceases to be a part of the scheme.
    • Any tax, liability, or duty arising from a member’s participation in the Vine Inn Barossa membership program is the responsibility of the member.
  • Earning points and Redeeming points
    • Points will be credited to a member’s account for purchases by the member from Vine Inn Barossa on qualifying goods or services. Promotional and incentive programs may be offered from time to time.
    • Vine Inn Barossa will determine which goods or services are qualifying goods and services and the number of points that will be credited to a member’s account for such purchases.
    • A member must present his or her membership card to Vine Inn Barossa staff before the purchase is concluded. Failure to present the membership card will result in no points being credited to the member’s account for the purchase.
    • Points cannot be redeemed as cash.
    • Points will be accrued where a purchase is paid by points in part or fully with in the one transaction.
  • Other deductions of points
    • Vine Inn Barossa may deduct from the points balance in a member’s account any points credited in error and any points relating to a purchase which is cancelled or reversed or where a refund is given.
    • Any points not redeemed within 12 months after the end of the month in which the points were credited to that account will, at the discretion of Vine Inn Barossa, expire and will be deducted from the points balance in a member’s account.
  • General
    • Vine Inn Barossa may make any changes at any time without prior notice to members to these Terms and Conditions and the award schedule. Vine Inn Barossa will attempt to notify members of any changes but shall not be liable in any way for failure to do so.
    • Vine Inn Barossa may without prior notice to members, change those goods and services which qualify for points and the number of points that attach to those goods and services.
    • Vine Inn Barossa reserves the right to suspend or terminate the membership program at any time without prior notice. Vine Inn Barossa will not be liable for the suspension or termination of the program on any account whatsoever including (without limitation) for any points balance in a member’s account at the time of suspension or termination.
    • Vine Inn Barossa assumes no liability to a member whether for negligence, breach of contract or otherwise except :
      • any claim relating to points, to crediting that number of points to the member’s account.
    • A notice shall be deemed to be given by Vine Inn Barossa to a member if it is sent to the postal or e-mail address of the member appearing in the member database
  • These terms and conditions will be construed according to and be governed by the laws of Australia. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in and of Australia in relation to any dispute arising under these terms and conditions.
  • Privacy Statement
    • Vine Inn Barossa may collect information about members including information contained in the application form and information as to transactions resulting in points credits and debits which will be held in the membership database. The membership database contains the following member information:
      • Name, address & telephone number(s)
      • Transaction details associated with the collection of membership program points
      • Points collected and awards provided.
      • E-mail address

A member may access the information on the member held by Vine Inn Barossa by contacting the Vine Inn Barossa membership team (manager@vineinn.com.au). If the information is inaccurate or incomplete, the member may advise Vine Inn Barossa to update the information or do so online.

  • Information from the member database will be made available to Vine Inn Barossa’s’ agents involved in administering the membership program including agents producing cards and points summaries and data processing. Information from the membership database will also be made available to and used by Vine Inn Barossa and its agents, for marketing (direct and all other kinds), planning, product development, research and other commercial purposes.
  • Each member consents and agrees to:
    • Vine Inn Barossa and its agents including Zen Global accessing the information contained in the member database;
    • The disclosure of any information contained in the member database to Vine Inn Barossa, Zen Global and its agents for the purposes set out above; and
    • The disclosure of any information contained in the member database by Vine Inn Barossa, Zen Global or its agents for the purposes referred to above.
